What should I do if I have not received any shareholder or proxy-related materials from a company in which I hold shares?
The BCSC suggests that you first contact your broker to determine whether you have completed the required documentation to have your name placed on the company’s mailing list. If you have not completed that documentation, you may make a request to your broker, or directly to the company in question, to have any shareholder or proxy-related materials sent to you. If, however, you have completed the necessary documentation, and still have not received the materials, you should advise the company directly. If you continue to have problems, you should contact the Information Officer, Enforcement Issues, at the BCSC Inquiries Group.
