From time to time, the BCSC will issue an Investor Alert to warn the public of a possible investment scam that may be affecting you or people you know. We also use the InvestRight website to centralize and disseminate information when we feel it is necessary to open direct communications channels with those who may have invested in a scam.
Investor Alerts allow the BCSC to send an early warning to the public about a possible scam in progress. When we issue an Investment Alert, it is usually because we don't have quite enough information or evidence to take enforcement action. Learn more
