What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing website content, like news headlines. You can use an RSS reader to view feeds from different sources and link to the full stories. RSS readers (also known as aggregators) will download and display RSS feeds for you in one place, which means don't have to visit multiple websites to get updates from different sources.
Free RSS readers are available for download from the web (try an Internet search for "rss reader" to find some options), or you can purchase a reader. Some readers are desktop-based, while others download your feeds to a webpage.
