Investment Caution List: Five New Additions

The British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) added five companies to the Investment Caution List. These entities claim to operate in binary options trading, contracts-for-difference (CFDs), foreign exchange (forex) trading, and more.

The Investment Caution List identifies unregistered activity and unqualified securities promoted in British Columbia. The BCSC relies on information from the public and other agencies to identify new entries to the List.

None of the companies listed below are registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC. We urge BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in BC.

New Additions to the Investment Caution List

B.I.S. Blueport Investment Services Ltd. (BIS) and 332option

BCSC staff became aware of 332option, which claims to be licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission under the name BIS, and offers an online binary options trading platform. The 332option posting was being promoted through the Vancouver, BC, online classifieds section of a social media site. BCSC InvestRight recently warned investors of the dangers of binary options and binary options scams.

Atlantic Global Asset Management

BCSC staff recently became aware of Atlantic Global Asset Management (AGAM) accepting funds from a BC resident. AGAM claims to be an investment firm located in the Republic of Cabo Verde.

uTrader and Day Dream Investments Ltd.

BCSC staff recently became aware of uTrader and Day Dream Investments. Staff also received information that a BC resident was able to open a trading account with uTrader.

uTrader claims to be an online contracts-for-difference (CFDs), forex, and options trading platform provider. Day Dream Investments Ltd., which claims to be located in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, owns the uTrader website and the uTrader trademark. Day Dream Investments Ltd. claims to be located in the Republic of Marshall Islands.

Asia & Pacific Holdings Inc.

The BCSC recently became aware of Asia & Pacific Holdings Inc. and the fact that it was purporting to sell securities from BC. The company claimed to be an investment firm with offices in Hong Kong, Japan, and Vancouver, BC.

USI-TECH Limited

The BCSC recently became aware of USI-TECH Limited (USI) after finding advertisements targeting BC residents. The company claims to be an online forex and Bitcoin trading platform provider located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
